This is one of the common mistakes homeowners make. They tend to skip when it comes to labeling their doors, drawers, and hardware. And later on, they forget how and where their proper places are. 6. You skip sanding

That is why it is a must for you to use prime or a stain-blocking primer to have a better outcome.
