Screen your tenants

Safety first

As a landlord, it is also your responsibility to keep your tenants safe and sound inside your home. Of course, you don't want something bad might happen to them, right? That is why, you need to have some first aid kit or anything that can help minor injuries. Of course, you should also not forget to have some fire extinguisher to prevent a fire from getting worst. 

Moreover, to make sure that you and your tenants are all far from danger, you have to check anything for repairs and have certain standards that you should follow before you rent out your property. Of course, you also have to make sure to have a regular inspection of the electrical wirings.

One of the things we usually hate the most is that when one person don't know his or her boundaries. Of course, if you are a tenant, you also have to act in line with the standards of your landlord for you not to be kicked out of the house. Moreover, you also have to be respectful in many ways to avoid unwanted situations or heated arguments later on.

A little compassion will not hurt his business

There are just times that tenants can't pay their monthly dues due to unwanted situations. Sometimes, they will come to you and ask or request for an extension when it comes to paying the bill. Of course, as a landlord, you also have to consider his/her situation, especially when you know that they have nothing left. You just have to make sure that next time, they are going to pay their monthly dues on time.
