Admittedly,
we all wish to have a “MYSELF” day. Of course, considering that there are a lot
of things that we need to do at work – not to mention the strict deadlines that
you need to meet ASAP. For some people, they even work in weekends. Perhaps,
they need the time for them just to meet the quota or the deadlines that the
client gave to them. And because of these work-loads, we all forget that we
also need to have a day for ourselves. As a result, we may not have a work-life
balance. That means, we need to have to for ourselves to bring back our
creative and productive side.
As much as
possible, weekends should be a “ME” time. You have to do something else that
you can have fun and enjoy. Of course, this is only the time where you can have
a spare time for yourself. Perhaps, you can go on shopping malls and other
places you want to go. But do not worry if decide to stay at home. You can
still have a productive day whether you are living in Ayala land premier Cebu or any real estate property in the Philippines.
1. Read a book
One way to
enjoy your weekend is to read a good book. It does not matter if you whether
it's a fiction or not, reading books is a great way to be productive at home.
2. Study
As we all
know, everyday is a learning experience. In addition to that, studying a
specific subject will give you more knowledge on a particular thing. If there
are anything that you are confused with, then studying can give you some
understandings about it.
3. Write
For some
people, writing can be a little challenging. Of course, you need to think about
what topics to write. However, you need not to think about technical stuff.
Write whatever you have in mind. In this way, you will have an idea or draft
about what you want to have.
4. Sort out
your clothes
If you do
not have any time sorting out your clothes due to busy schedules at work, then
this is your time to fix it. You can sort your clothes by colors or type. In
this way, you will not have any problem about what to wear for the next day.
5. Exercise
There is
nothing more satisfying than having a conditioned body. Of course, you can do
some walking, running, jogging or anything that you want to do for as long as
you are living in an active lifestyle. This is also one way you will get fit
and healthy during weekends.
6. Cook or bake
Whether you
are a chef or not, you can definitely cook your favorite meal. Fret not if you
do not have any idea about the kitchen at all. There are a lot of recipes and
procedures you can refer online. With this, you can learn even a single recipe
for a week. Perhaps, you can make this your new hobby, and you will be amazed
how you can do things on your own.
7. Meet your
neighbors
One way or
another, there are advantages when you go meet with your neighbors. Of course,
this is also one of the many ways you can make friends with them. Being friendly
with them will lets you know them better on what kind of neighbor they are to
you, and you to them.
8. Order your
favorite take-out food
Aside from
cooking, you can also give in to your craving by ordering your favorite food.
With this, you will be able to satisfy what you want to have for that day. Of
course, you also have to make sure that you order healthy foods. Moreover, you
can invite friends over to enjoy the foods that you have.
